ALCOHOL CONTROL

Why control your drinking?

The act of drinking is not only natural, but essential for survival.

Drinking alcohol is a widely accepted activity, in small amounts can induce feelings of relaxation and  be beneficial. However drinking excessive amounts of alcohol is in reality unnatural and can be destructive.

Does drinking really make you happy?

If drinking a little alcohol has the effect of making you happy, drinking a lot should make you feel very happy indeed. However, have you ever tried drinking to excess to end the misery of a broken relationship, or any other problems for that matter?

Did you find that after a few drinks you felt incredibly happy?

Or did you just render yourself paralytic? And was the problem miraculously solved when you came out of the stupor? Were you happy then?

Or did the hangover make everything appear twice as bad as it really was?

Using the techniques of hypnosis it is possible to gain a level of control over your drinking that :

Does not involve willpower

Does not involve withdrawal symptoms and suffering

Improves confidence and will enable you to enjoy social occasions more

Leaves you better equipped to handle stress

Involves no feeling of sacrifice or deprivation

Making powerful and positive changes at an unconscious level ensures that you can become happy, contented and totally in control of your thoughts and your behaviours, which means that you choose how you want to feel at any time regardless of external circumstances.

Hypnosis enables you to gain freedom from the 'drink monster' ;the part of you that wants to drink, believing that it will make you happy.

Perhaps you can imagine the monster as an evil goblin perched on one shoulder, tightening its legs around your throat and demanding endless supplies of alcohol. Without it he will die!!

It is the one that is dependent on the alcohol, not you!

And the more it has the bigger it gets and the more it wants and demands!!

How many times did you hear people say 'It was not me, it was the drink talking'.

Once you realise this, it will lose its power over you and your situation will be reversed, you will be the one in control.

All you have to do is to banish it for good and then you will be free!

Once you have removed the goblin from your back you will probably find that you have a lot more free time, energy and money. You can then choose to spend them wisely on activites that give you genuine pleasure.

Using the techniques of hypnosis, visualisation and NLP you can set yourself free and regain control of your life.
